Bore retaining rings / Shaft retaining rings
Retaining rings are used in mechanical engineering for form-fitting axial securing of components on shafts or in housings, preferably with small and evenly distributed axial and radial loads. Here, it is important to ensure that the face of the retaining ring does not touch the edge radius of the bearing. If the face does touch the edge, we recommend that you use our shims.
Made of cold-drawn spring wire 1.4310, GRW retaining rings are corrosion-proof. They are free of scales and burrs. They are made of a spring wire with an extremely constant cross-section.
